Shake your phone to turn on the flashlight

RULOMI 0.8.0 · WORKS WITHOUT THE AI PLANNER
A shake is quicker than finding the Quick Settings tile. This routine also turns the light off again, so it doesn't run the battery down if you forget.

Type this

When I shake my phone turn on the flashlight, wait 5 minutes and then turn off the flashlight

Rulomi's on-device parser understands this as written, so it works with the AI planner switched off.

What Rulomi builds

WHEN
You shake the phone
THEN
  1. Turn on the flashlight
  2. Wait 5 minutes
  3. Turn off the flashlight

You see this on the review screen before you enable it, and nothing runs until you do.

Access it asks for

  • Nothing for the actions themselves.

Rulomi asks for access per routine, when a routine needs it, not all at once when you install.

Variations

When I shake my phone turn on the flashlight

Leaves the light on until you turn it off.

Good to know

  • The screen has to be on. Android stops delivering motion once the screen is off, so a shake in your pocket does nothing.
  • There are three shake sensitivities to choose from on the review screen, because the same flick reads differently on every phone.
  • The flashlight can't be put back automatically, which is why this routine turns it off itself. A routine's waits can add up to six hours.
